The Fox Coulée solar plant is located in Alberta, Canada and owned by Neoen. Its launch has been celebrated on June 19 2024. This project marks a significant achievement in advancing sustainable energy infrastructure in North America. The farm is scheduled for completion in the coming weeks following the launch event.

The Fox Coulée project, with a capacity of 93-megawatt peak (MWp), is a key contribution to the Province of Alberta and the federal government’s ambitious goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2035. It will generate enough electricity to power over 20,000 homes, significantly impacting the local community’s energy needs. Additionally, its operation will reduce approximately 70,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year.
